In order to change your residence to Trento, you must follow these steps:

1. Prepare all the required documents (in digital format).
• A copy of hour housing contract
• Registration of your housing contract
• Copy of your passport
• A copy of your permesso di soggiorno
• A copy of your health card
2. Download and complete the form 1103 cambio residenza HERE.
   You can find the instructions to complete the form HERE.
   We advise getting some help from an Italian colleague in filling the form.
3. Attach the completed form, as well as the supporting documets mentioned in Step 1 into an email, and send to cambioresidenza@comune.trento.it.
4. Someone from the police or the carabinieri will come to check if you are actually living in your address. When completing the form, you have the option to specify a preferred time for the visit. Usually they will check if your name is on the dorrbell, but there is a chance that they will ring the bell to check.
   Make sure to stay home during the day and time you selected.
   Make sure that your name is on the doorbell!
5. After a few weeks, you will recieve an email confirming that your residence has been updated.

Voila! now you are a resident of Trento.
